"what if" scenarios in VCP (ASCP) ver 12.1.3

We are wanting to do a what if look at our supply chain. 

the what if portion is this:  our production will be shut down for 3 months.  We want to build enough stock to get us through that 3 month period and we want to build it in 6 weeks.  we want to see what our gating items will be and if this 6 week plan is achievable.

we do not want to impact our current working production plan, and we do not want to change the current working production forecast.

Assuming all of our internal capacity and our vendor capacity set ups are correct and item lead times are also correct, can a what if scenario as described above possible in VCP?
