Grade change in Sales order

Hi,

I need a help in JDE 8.12, we have a garded item for an export customer, when we place the order the order retrieves EXP grade and submitted, when i am trying to modify the same order again by changing the Qty from 10 EA to 20 EA after submitting the order, the GRADE in order changed to ZZZ. Not only Quantity field, if we modify any field in order, this happens. Please advise, we have preference setup for this customer.Appreciate you help.
