R12 Check Avaliability just for an specific sub-inventory

Hello

I was wondering if it is possible to check the avaliability in OM just for an specific sub-inventory, i.e. when an end users is capture a sale order they want to check the avaliability not for the whole sub-inventories in the operating unit, he wants to check only the avaliability for an specific sub-inventory.
