Matching of Depreciation Calendar and GL Calendar Names

In general ledger there are 13 periods defined for the accounting calendar as JAN-12, FEB-12, MAR-12 etc

The client wants to depreciate its assets on a quarterly basis.

How do I define the period names for the depreciation calendar please.

Ex for 1st quarter period 1 , I insert the name MAR-12??
