SSL for Siebel Communications

Dear All,

One of my customer in expecting to deploy Siebel Communications on SSL. We are on latest Innovation pack 2014 patchset5(8.1.1.14PS5).

Do we have any known issues of SSL implemenation for employee facing application. I believe it will have certain performance impact. IS anyone having any experience as in to estimate a probable performance hit.
