Question related to Oracle Product Hub

We have a requirement where in we need to publish Item related information to our Retailers periodically. Some instances could be introduction of new item or changes in an existing items.

All the Item related information is not stored in Oracle and some information will be pulled from external systems.

Before we start looking into the feasibility of Oracle product hub, need some basic understanding if this is the right product for us.

1) Can we integrate OPH with external systems and create a repository of Item details/attributes in Oracle

2) Can we publish information to our retailers/customers. One of the way I read is GDSN/1SYNC. Does need another subscription or this comes along with Oracle product hub.
