Raw Material Consumption

Hi,

Business need to know how much value of Raw material consumed in a month so what is the best way to find this?

We have defined Raw Material INV account for RM warehouse. Now we transfer Ram Material from this warehouse to WIP warehouse for production batch thru Direct Interorg Transfer. So Raw Material Inv account is credited.

So as per business process, what is the way to identify how much ram material value consumed? Do we need to see all credit entries of this Ram Material INV account as Credit? or we define account IOR for RM warehouse and IOP for WIP warehouse and see the total value created in IOR or is there any other way?
