what causes fmr-92101 error when submitting rx-only or rxi fixed asset book report?

In version 12.1.3 version of the Oracle Assets module, we are trying to run the RX-only Fixed Assets Book amd RXi Fixed Asset Book report.  In both cases we get a Form 92101 error when tab out of the period field of the parameters.  We have tried other RX and RXi reports and they work.  We are on forms version 12.0.44.12010000.103.  Screenshot fo each error case are attached in a document.
