Clearing Pending Transaction has increased Inventory Count

Hello Wonderful People,

  We have a pending transaction for our March Inventory Accounting period which I closed using following steps.

. Resubmit the transactions using the following:
Responsibility: Inventory
Navigation: Transactions -> Pending Transactions
Query for these unprocessed transactions
Click the Submit checkbox next to the records to resubmit
Click Save

2. Monitor to see if the transactions process.

However this has increased the inventory count by 30 (doubled the count).

Then again we have another pending transaction for our April Inventory Closing period which our user cleared using above mentioned steps.  This has cleared the pending transaction but has again doubled the inventory count for that item. Do anyone knows what's going on?
