Make the contract status from Signed to Expired

Hi All,

We have a particular contract which is having start date as 20-JAN-2033 and end date as 19-JAN-2034. We want to make this contract as Expired or Terminated. Currently it is in 'Signed' status.

Is there any method from front end (contract screen), which can make status as Expired/Terminated?

I have tried two options for this --

(1) Executed program 'Contract Status Change by Contract', but it did not change status.

(2)

1.Open the contract which is in Signed status in contract Authoring Workbench

2.Go to Tools-->change contract status

3.Change the contract status to a "Hold" status(status of Status Type Hold)
