Contents Firm Delivery unassigns items and closes as empty delivery

Hi

If a delivery is contents firm, this means that one cannot add or unassigns any item from it.

But if by mistake, I ship confirm this delivery and the status of the lines inside it is Ready to release (not yet picked), the system will unassign these items and close the delivery as empty delivery.

1. Doesn't this behavior contradicts the rule that a contents firm delivery prohibits any change on the delivery?

2. This behavior also contradicts what the system does if one tries to ship confirm an empty delivery (whether firm content or not). The system will prohibit ship confirming an empty delivery (which is logical)
