How to synchonize account combinations between GL and HCM

Hi Colleagues,

We're running Oracle HCM and GL version 12.1.3 on the same single instance.

GL users disable gl account combinations when they're no longer needed. But costings are still interfacing from Payroll to these disabled combinations. There doesn't seem to be any checks performed against the code combinations in the Element Link screen. i.e. it lets me enter a disabled account combination.

How do we link the GL account combinations that are maintained in GL with what is posted against in HCM?

or does HCM maintain a separate list of valid combinations?
