ZFS Storage Appliance: Two issues on LUN GUIDs

Ladies, Gentlemen,

we are experiencing some minor issues when handling LUN on our ZFS Storage appliances:

- After renaming a LUN, the GUID is not presented anymore in the BUI or the CLI. Instead, the word "UNKNOWN" is displayed. Clients can continue to access the LUN using the existing GUID without a problem. The issue can be fixed by momentarily taking the LUN offline in the Protocols tab and taking it back online.

- When replicating a LUN to another appliance, severing the replicated LUN results in a new LUN without a GUID. Again "UNKNOWN" is displayed as GUID by the BUI. However, (iSCSI) clients can not see the LUN and taking the LUN offline momentarily does not fix the issue. It is, however, possible to clone from the latest replication snapshot to generate a new LUN with the same content.
