hi,

Good Day!

ZFS pool state is degraded when ONLY one path disk is disappeared.

Storage configured as multipathing, connected to dual SAN Fabric. last night, one single storage is going down coz of storage upgrade firmware activity.

It should be take over by another path, but why the ZFS pool storage is going to degraded?

bash-3.00# zpool status
pool: provpgw8
state: Degraded
status: One or more devices has experienced an error resulting in data
corruption. Applications may be affected.
action: Run 'zpool clear <zone>' and replace the bad device
see: http://www.sun.com/msg/ZFS-8000-FD
scrub: none requested

Howdy, Stranger!
