Possible to Add Seeded Supplier Columns to Prospective Supplier Registration page?

We want to add columns like 'Supplier Type' to Prospective Supplire Registration page. I don't see any section in 'Standard Profile ' under 'Supplier Onboarding Configuration' that would add this column to Prospective Supplier Registration. Is there a way to do it. There are some other columns on Supplier Administrator form that we want our Prospective Suppliers to fill in.

The only possibility I see is to add columns through UDA. But then they are just additional columns like DFF, right. Is there a way to link them back to Standard Columns on Supplier table, so if we capture value of Supplier type from UDA at the time of Prospective Supplier Registration, we can update it on our seeded 'Supplier Type' on Supplier form at the time of supplier Approval.
