How to capture the actual delivery date by carrier

We want to capture the actual delivery date by the carrier to the customer. 

From the warehouse the carrier will pick the shipment and give us the estimated delivery date to the customer.  Sometimes this date is not the actual date due to various reasons.  How can we go back and update the actual delivery date in delivery in Oracle.
