Kit Imbalance Issue in SO - E 910 version

Hello everyone,

It seems there is an issue with Kit Balancing in JD Edwards E 910 environment (Tools Release 9.1.4.6). Currently we are in JD Edwards E 812 version. We would soon be Going live with new upgraded E 910 environment.

I created an Order in the new upgraded PD 910 environment which had Kit parent item ‘KWL503’ and had 14 as the order quantity. The customer # 101688 has configuration to allow Backorders as well as partial Shipments. The Order # is 3385504 and this Kit have 2 child items (‘MC503RC1AS’, ‘MC503RC1AM’).  Note that Partials Allowed (Y/N) flag = ‘N’ in the BOM File F3002 for this Kit record. The item availability before Order creation was as shown below
