Journals getting automatically approved

Hi Team,

We are on R12.1.3.

Recently, we started facing a issue where GL Journals are getting automatically approved once the preparer of the journal clicks on approve button.

We checked the below:-

1. Checked Profile option "Journals: Allow Preparer Approval" and it is set to No at Site level and hence the user who is the preparer of the journal should not be able to approve.

2. Checked the Journal approval limits for the user and the user do not have any approval limits and hence should not be able to approve.

3. Checked the hierarchy and can see that the supervisor of the user has required approval limits and hence the journal should be ideally routed to supervisor and user should not be able to approve.
