Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Technology Stack - EBS (MOSC)

EBS 12.1.3 and reverse proxy to replace SHA-2 certificates

We are using EBS 12.1.3 with SSL and SHA-1 certificates.

Our IT department indicated that we will have to use SHA-2 certificates soon, but they are not certified yet with EBS 12.1.3.

Oracle Support suggestion is to use Reverse Proxy or Load Balancing as a workaround. This is from Note 376700.1

I looked at a couple of Oracle Support notes and I'm still not totally sure how to implement those solutions.

A lot of notes seems to indicate to use DMZ with reverse proxy, but since we only use the Intranet to access EBS, I do not think DMZ is needed .

We also do not use a Load Balancer as one node for the Apps server is enough.
