How to give Security to folders

Hi,

I want to give security to Reports,files and folder.The Navigation is Explore -> Folder. I can give security to this folders by right click and then Edit permission,this is one way to give security.but if I have "N" Numbers of folders then is there any option to import security through XMl file etc. ???
