Default settlement method in claim in OCRM

Hi All,

When we define Customer Trade Profile, there is a field called payment method which can be chose. However, the given payment method does not get populated to the claim when that customer master is chose. Can anyone help me understand what is the use of defaulting the payment method details in customer trade profile.
