What is best practice patching multi-home Oracle AIX server? Do all instances need to be offlline t

This AIX server has 10.2.0.3, 10.2.0.4 and 11.2.0.3 RMAN instance that needs to be patched.  The listener is at 11.2.0.3.  Do all of the instances need to be offline or just the 11.2.0.3 instance and listener?
