"More than One User Has Been Assigned the Marketing Default Approver Role": Even though the query gi

We were trying to end date an existing approver role and create a new approver for for Claims but as soon as we try to end date any role in approval rule we can error message "More than One User Has Been Assigned the Marketing Default Approver Role".

Metalink note 316373.1 says end date more than one default marketing approver role  if the query given below returns more than one approver.
