validation failed for field sales person when using defaulting rules

Hi Folks ,

Created custom defaulting rule for sales person , based on login id relevant sales person should be defaulted in sales person field in order header tab .

For this I have created custom package with function .Before opening sales order form showing error "validation failed for field sales person" .

R12 instance .
