Standard API to refund deposits from AR

Hi, Our developer has developed customized form to collect Customer deposits information. He used standard APIs to generate the Deposit invoices and Receipts from customers  and apply these receipts against the deposit invoices. Now he has to automate the refund function for the deposit. Is there any oracle standard API to generate refund for deposits? Please guide me. If there is no standard API, please guide me how it can be achieved. Thanking you in anticipation.
