ORACLE SECURITY LATEST PB 20544696 ON WINDOWS 64bit

Hello Team,

Oracle release a month a go, the latest security patch bundle, 205544696 (Database Patch (20544696) -  version 11.2.0.4.15) for windows 64 bit. According to the read me, supported OS include Window 2008 R2.

Operating system requirement:

  • Windows Server 2003, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter x64 Edition
  • Windows Server 2003 R2, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter x64 Edition
  • Windows Vista, Business, Enterprise and Ultimate x64 Edition
  • Windows XP Professional x64 Edition Service Pack 2 or later
  • Windows Server 2008 x64 Edition
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 Edition
  • Windows 7
  • Windows 8
  • Windows 2012
  • Windows 2012 R2

While applying the patch, I have the error complaining about the platform :

[May 18, 2015 6:38:52 PM] Prerequisite check "CheckPatchApplicableOnCurrentPlatform" failed.
