How to make some series as read only for some users

Hi,

7.3.0.2

We would like to make some of the series as view only for some users.  Our understanding is that we can provide the series and selected filters..but we cannot make certain users read only vs other users can edit.

Any thoughts?

The workaround we have is to create a two series one editable and another non editable..
