BIP Parameter Display Labels behavior change

Hello,

This is an observation that I wanted to share just so users of Oracle BI Publisher 11.1.1.7.150120 are not surprised by this change.

In BI Publisher Data Models, while defining parameters, you have to specify the display label to read something like :Enter Customer Code". In some case I would put an astrix (*) to signify that it's a mandatory parameter. In other cases, for example where the parameter would be Y/N, I would include (Y/N) in the display label so that user knows what to enter.

With this bundle patch 150120, we can no longer do this. These characters are prohibited from display labels. Support has confirmed that this is a development decision to prevent cross-scripting hacks.

Howdy, Stranger!
