Presentation Variable In Dashboard Filter Prompt Used to Filter Report Columns

I have a Dashboard Filter Prompt created. It is built on a long text field column 'Description'.  In this prompt I define a Presentation Variable called 'SearchTerm'. I then have a Report created that is supposed to use the Presentation Variable @{SearchTerm} defined in the Dashboard Prompt as a filter value for other columns in the report. The way this is supposed to work in the documentation is that when the dashboard prompt is displayed, I enter a ‘Search Term’ and this value populates the Presentation Variable @{Search Term} that I can then use to filter other columns in my
