What does this parameter do: REPORTS_DISABLE_CLIPBOARD=YES

We are having this error: Reports Error X Error of failed request: BadWindow when our system is under heavy CPU load.

Our system is AIX 6.1

In MOS note: 437878.1 it says that you can install patch 14353879 to solve this issue on AIX. You need to apply a Template fix 14381165 to enable this fix. While template fix 14381165 is not available, this customization (to add REPORTS_DISABLE_CLIPBOARD=YES in appsrwrun.sh file) can be done as per MOS Document 387859.1: Section 4: Customizing AutoConfig Managed Configurations.

What does this parameter do: REPORTS_DISABLE_CLIPBOARD=YES ? we cannot find any hits on MOS or Communities for this.
