Tape drive in Sun E250 Error - sequential positioning error

Hi Everyone,

I have encountered an error in Sun E250 server. A tape drive is installed in the system.

However in dmesg, there are a lot of errors which are similiar to the ones below.

A different tape was used but the errors continued to appear in messages.

Can i say that the tape drive is faulty?

What is the meaning of sequential positioning error?
