orachk doesn't discover Oracle Restart or databases

Running orachk (12.1.0.2.3) on host running Oracle Restart with role separation fails to discover CRS home and any databases. I have set RAT_CRS_HOME and RAT_ORACLE_HOME in the environment but this has no effect. -dball and -dbnames options don't fare any better. Has anyone run orachk successfully in this type of environment?
