PARTIAL RETIREMENT LEAVES ASSET STATUS AS DISPOSED

The asset module allows a partial retirement of an asset.  The system does indeed work as far as the calculations for the cost are concerned.  The problem is that the asset status on the Asset Table is set to Disposed and can’t beupdated to In Service If the asset is only partially disposed the status has to be In Service if other activity i.e. the transfer of the remaining asset to another fund is to be done.  In Disposed status, the only options are to retire rest/more of the asset, Re-instate the portion that was disposed, or enter proceeds or
