GMF: Rebuild/recreate period batch layers program

HI,

I know that we need to run GMF: Rebuild/recreate period batch layers program during month end but when i run ACP during the month at different days to see my cost, do i need to run this program (GMF: Rebuild/recreate period batch layers program) as well or only as month end?
