Sales Trade promotions Vs. Marketing Promotions
Hello,
We are implementing Demantra Demand Management and Trade Promotion Planning at one of our clients.
Trade promotion management is centered around Sales Promotions and we are using Demantra Predictive Trade Planning to model that solution.
Client has approached us asking if we can also include Marketing Promotions in the same solution.
From a preliminary conversation this sounds pretty different than a typical sales promotion process.
e.g. –
1) Marketing Promotions here are customer-independent and are National in nature like TV Commercials..
2) They also don’t drive towards a Sales Quota (target) and there is no allocation of budgets to Customer Accounts.
