ODA V1 - cat /proc/mdstat -- When was the last time you checked the health of your system disks

Update: 4/19/2017

The frequency of System / Boot disk replacement continues with the very popular but now aging V1 ODA

Please run cat /proc/mdstat on each node of your V1 to confirm that both system disks are healthy monthly as a _requirement_

I have recently seen a few user's create SRs based on failed system disks. This is inevitable.

However, a few users have never checked the health of the system disks.

This led to having to rebuild one of the two nodes once both system disks failed!

EXAMPLE - Good

cat /proc/mdstat

Personalities : [raid1]

md0 : active raid1 sdb1[1] sda1[0]

Howdy, Stranger!
