Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. There is server component in EAI component group.

I read that it is needed for JavaServer pages and other J2EE artifacts.

1. Now my question is in our application which is a Open UI Siebel UCM application (version 8.1.1.10) do we need this component to be enabled.

2. If it is not needed , will we have any performance benefit if we disable this server component?
