Is there a way to create AP CREDIT Memo for trade management claim

Can any one suggest is there a way to create a AP credit memo using trade management claim settlement process?

Our goal here as follows.

Some time we over pay our suppliers and realize later after couple of months that we need to collect the over payment from our suppliers.

AP team will collect the funds from supplier.

The original claim needs to be adjusted and closed. Since in Trade management we don't have an option to open a closed claim can you suggest a work around?
