Can one document type can have different numbering series

Hi,

We have requirement that certain PO Doc type which will have PO's created in manually in E1 as well as we will get some documents through Interface as well.

For example OP Doc type will be created manually in E1 where numbering might start from 15000001 & we might have PO's coming from Interface for that numbering will be coming from Interface. My query is can OP Doc type have completely different numbering series for same company ?
