Creation Hyperion Essbase Filters

Hi ,

Please can you help how we can select pattern for filters.

Ex: A is parent of child  A1,A2,A3

      A1 is parent of x,y,z

     x  is parent of p,q,r

   y is parent of l,m,n,

z is parent of a,b,c

If I need to create filter such that any user who is able to see only 'q'  and 'l'  should also be able to see its parents i.e x and y and A.

x and y should be returned only if childs q and are 'l' are present. In this case z should not be returned as user don't have access to any of its child.
