How do other County Governments deal with CAFR Reporting and auditor adjusments
Can you suggest a good document to read about year end adjustments that occur months later?
We use Projects, Grants, and Encumbrances as we are a COUNTY GOVERNMENT.
We have an Adjustment period and we do the journal and encumbrance year end steps.
Now in May the auditors have requested we make year end Adjustments to 2014!
I know we can make an adjustment by opening ADJ-14 and enter and post journal, but I need to know the ramifications of Encumbrance, budgeting, Projects, all of that stuff.
What do other COUNTY governments do for CAFR adjustments?
