Issue with Auto Pick Release

We have two Sales orders created on 14-May-15 and 20-May-15 for the same item. The promise date is 27-May-15 and 16-Jun-15 respectively. The item is non-ATO item.

When have the Pick Release program scheduled to run every day. The issue is the newer Sales Order which was created on 20-May-15 has been picked first instead of the SO created on 14-May-15.

I checked the Release Sequence Rule. As per the rule, Scheduled Ship Date takes the priority. So as per the release sequence rule, the 14-May SO should have been picked.

Any idea why the newer SO has been picked instead of older one?
