We created 4 custom fields under activities. We are able to add data to those fields in activities,

We created 4 custom fields under activities. We are able to add data to those fields in activities, save them, and retrieve/see those details under the activity but are unable to choose those fields in reporting - What step did we miss to be able to select the fields in reports?
