IP2015 upgrade

Hi all,

I am preparing the IP2015 upgrade (coming from IP2013) and have a question. A recommendation from the upg guide is to set the general cursor size to 5000 (page 186). But in Doc ID 980532.1, it is mentioned to set the "open_cursors" between 1000 and 2000. My question is : are we talking about the same thing here ? If yes, what value should we set prior to doing the IRM ? If not, what does the "general cursor size" refer to ?
