Why would my planning application suddenly stop accepting connections?

Hello

I am running version 11.1.2.3.501. My Smart View is 11.1.2.3.505. Last Thursday mid-way through the day, my non-admin users suddenly could no longer connect to my planning application via smart views. The error is "Cannot open cube view. Essbase Error (1054009): Application FCSPLN is currently not accepting connections." Since Thursday, I have to run a MaxL script every morning to enable connects. Monday afternoon, mid-way through the day, suddenly the connections failed again and I had to run the script a second time. Has anyone experienced this? Have suggestions for a fix?
