getting runtime error java.land.noDefclassfound

one jsp page name GERE_ibeCSrdSrchAdvForm.jsp path $OA_HTML. this jsp calls one java classes GERECustomItemChk.class  which resides in $JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/ibe/catalog folder but @getting runtime error java.land.noDefclassfound please help me out.
