Problem with Research Management - Fields Setup

Has anyone used Research Management - Fields Setup or Status Field Setup? We are trying to hide fields on the Supervisor and Consumption and Submission pages in Candidate Management. There are two different setup tables that we've tried to use.

Setup SACR > Product Related > Student Records > Research Management > Status Field Setup

Setup SACR > Product Related > Student Records > Research Management > Fields Setup

When I used Fields Setup, I turn display off for fields, but they still appear on the Candidate Management pages. For example, I have turned off four of the Supervisor page fields. The Fields Setup shows them as do not display, but they are still on the page. (See attached screenshots.)
