Screen Interface Changed

Not sure what happened but now when we access a profile, the tab to move to the different screen is gone.  It's been replaced with an arrow (>>  <<), forward and backward to move from properties tab to workflow tab, etc.  Can you tell us how to get the tab back?  That was easier for the client to see the different fields versus the forward and backward arrows.  Thanks.
