Is it possible to make schedule ship date = (requested date + 1 day) without customizing ATP when th

Oracle order scheduling defaults the schedule ship date to be the request date if inventory is available on the day the order is entered.  However, shipping can not always ship an item the same day it is ordered even if it is in stock, especially for orders entered in the afternoon.  We need to make (Schedule Ship Date = (request date + 1 day)) if request date = order entered date.  It seems other businesses would face this same issue that they cannot always ship on the same day the order is entered regardless of customer request date.  Has anybody solved this issue already?
