Extended warranty for ATO item

I am trying to create extended warranty for the ATO item. I have added the extended warranty line for the OM and referenced that to the ATO model. Have profile option OM:Cascade services as Yes.

Extended warranty line is cascased from the ATO model to ATO option classes but not for the configured item star item (=ATO item).

Anyone has experience if it is possible to cascade the extended warranty for the ATO item? Other than manually created the extended warranty for that line.
